Say hello to Sophia, who joined us the other day. She’s quite the special girl, being the seventh baby in her extended family that I’ve had to privilege to help into the world. (Her cousin, who should arrive any day now, will make it eight.)
She is 6 lb 11 oz and just perfect.
Mom labored so peacefully and instinctively, working hard but calmly to meet her baby, who slipped out into mom’s hands in a wonderful waterbirth.
