The total package fee of $7500 includes complete prenatal, birth and postpartum care, newborn care at birth and all newborn screening tests, birth supplies, deluxe birth pool use, routine medications for mom and baby at birth, birth assistant and a registration fee that reserves your spot on Karen's birth calendar.

Have insurance? We will work with you and your insurance company to get the best coverage possible but Karen does not contract with and is not in-network with any private insurance company. All fees are ultimately the responsibility of the patient. Keep in mind that Florida law requires most insurers to cover midwifery services and home birth.
No insurance? Does your insurance plan have a high deductible? Early payment discounts and payment plans are available. Karen also accepts most major credit cards.
NEW Loans are now available through United Medical Credit. Click the link at the bottom of this page for more information.
Laboratory testing, ultrasound and physician consultations are not included in Karen’s fee. Lab discounts are available for those without insurance.
Karen accepts Medicaid on a limited basis and acceptance depends on your plan and its limitations and requirements.
